Event looks at making Tamil relevant in Internet age


THE first World Tamil Internet Conference 2017 took place over three days at the Sultan Idris Education University in Tanjung Malim, Perak, Tamil Nesan reported.

The conference, which aimed to make Tamil usage more relevant online, as well as enable the teaching and learning of the language online, was organised by the World Tamil Epics Research Association in collaboration with Indian youth groups. The conference, which took place from Aug 25-27, drew participants from the United States, India, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Malaysia.
