SINGER Hafiz Hamidun has expressed shock over his wife Joy Revfa’s application to annul their marriage, reported Kosmo!.

Hafiz had gone to the Petaling Jaya Lower Syariah Court on Monday to file his own application when he was informed that he could not proceed as Joy, whose real name is Siti Arifah Mohd Amin, had already lodged hers.

“According to court procedures, there cannot be two filings of the same application. For now, I can only wait for the court’s decision,” said the 33-year-old.

The couple’s marriage ran into trouble after issues arose about the validity of Joy’s divorce from her first husband.

Hafiz only realised this at the start of their marriage. The couple married on May 1.

> Harian Metro reported that Kampung Gerung resident Fatimah Awang Lah, 70, suffered up to 20 hornet stings on her face and shoulders after she was attacked by a swarm.

The elderly woman, who was treated at the Besut Hospital in Terengganu, said she had wanted to move her cow when the insects swarmed all over her.
