Melaka CM rushes to the aid of flood victims


MELAKA: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron cut short his open house on the second day of Hari Raya when he heard that many flood victims in Alor Gajah and Jasin had to be evacuated.

He was up till 3am yesterday with the Melaka natural disaster committee members to ensure that other low-lying areas were not affected when the waters of Melaka river breached the dangerous level.
