GEORGE TOWN: When Penangites heard that free petrol and cooking oil would be given out, many thought it was an April Fools’ Day hoax.
But it was no prank and there were smiles all around as a few thousand Penangites received the petrol from Permatang Pauh Umno and cooking oil from Barisan Nasional Youth.
