Guard shot in attempted robbery at Sg Petani bank

SUNGAI PETANI : Three shots were fired in a robbery attempt at a bank at Taman Ria Jaya in Sungai Petani at about 8.30am Wednesday morning.

A man, believed to be the bank's security guard, was injured in the shooting and was rushed to hospital according to police sources.
