Three companies fined RM18,000 for GST offence

KUALA LUMPUR: Three companies were fined a total of RM18,000 by the Sessions Court here for failing to issue Goods and Service Tax (GST) invoices.

Electrical items supplier Pusat Elektrik E&R Sdn Bhd, optical goods supplier Omega Vision Care and stationer Selvan Holding (M) Sdn Bhd were fined RM6,000 each, in default four months' jail each, for failing to issue GST invoices on Oct 7, last year, Jan 14 and Feb 3 this year.
