Two jailed a day for stealing Manchester United shirts

KUALA LUMPUR: A sporting goods supplier and a promoter were sentenced to one day in jail and fined RM1,000 for stealing underwear and four Manchester United shirts among other things.

Magistrate Nur' Aminahtul Mardiah Md Nor meted out the sentence after Norshahar Jamil, 32, and Nur Adila Ismail, 21, pleaded guilty to the offence.
