BENTONG: No text messages or phone calls are worth risking your life for, Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai advises motorcyclists who are riding home for the festive season.
“About 60% of fatal road accidents are recorded among motorcyclists. Texting or taking pictures contribute to the statistics,” he said in his speech at the launch of the 18th Yamaha Balik Kampung Road Safety Campaign here yesterday.
