22 share an apple after boat capsizes


KOTA BELUD: Railway manager Liu Xiang Hui will never forget the night when she and 21 others shared an apple to curb their hunger after hours of floating in the sea off Mantanani island here.

The 44-year-old, who came to Sabah from Guangzhou, China, on June 21 with her son and other Chinese tourists, had to jump into the sea after the boat they were travelling in from Mantanani island off Kota Belud leaked at about 4pm Thursday.
