1,448 HFMD cases recorded in Johor this year


JOHOR BARU: Johor has recorded double the number of hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD) cases, with 49 outbreaks since January this year compared to 23 for the same period last year.

State Health Department deputy director Dr Fatimah Othman said the total cumulative number of suspected HFMD cases was at 1,448 cases up to the second week of this month.
