PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional retained both the Sungai Besar and Kuala Kangsar parliamentary seats with higher majorities.
The official count for Sungai Besar as of 9pm is Barisan garnering 10,572 votes with PAS getting 4,507 votes and Amanah 4,323. Barisan's majority is 6,065 votes.
