Umno veterans say BN parties have no right to comment on Syariah bill

PETALING JAYA: Barisan Nasional component parties have no right to comment on the Private Member's Bill tabled by PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang as it only concerns the Muslims, said the veterans of Umno.

Congratulating Hadi on the move, Umno Veterans Club secretary-general Datuk Mustapha Yaakub (pic) said non-Muslim leaders in Barisan should not be too quick to jump to conclusions.
