RM1.8mil lost due to water theft from January to May

KUALA LUMPUR: Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (Syabas) has suffered non-revenue water (NRW) losses from water theft of RM1.821mil from Jan 1 to May 24.

The amount was derived from 261 notices served for water theft in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya involving water usage of 587,011.67 cubic metres.
