Take evidence directly to MACC, Wan Azizah tells Rafizi

PETALING JAYA: PKR has urged its secretary-general Rafizi Ramli to take any evidence of alleged corruption within the Selangor state government directly to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

In a statement on Wednesday, PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail (pic) said that the issue was raised during the party's political bureau meeting.

"At the same time, the political bureau will examine the allegation mentioned (by Rafizi), and if it involves a member of the party, the member will be brought to face the party's disciplinary committee," she said.

Last week, a WhatsApp message from a closed group of party members and Reformasi supporters was leaked, threatening to expose allegations that women and money were being demanded in state government dealings.

Rafizi later confirmed that he wrote the message.

He had also said that he would hand over all evidence on recent graft allegations against the Selangor government to the party president.
