Gerakan: Guan Eng would not have benefited from debate

PETALING JAYA: The postponent of the Guan Eng-Rahman Dahlan debate is for the Penang Chief Minister's own benefit and protection, said Gerakan secretary-general Liang Teck Meng.

"Having worked with Abdul Rahman and participating in his recent expose of the signed and stamped share sales agreement of the Taman Manggis land and project by the KLIDC owner, I was privy to view some of the documents and research that the joint Penang Gerakan and BN strategic communications team had on the Taman Manggis and bungalow scandal," he said in a statement on Sunday.
