No plans to make sex education a subject

SEX education will not be taught in schools as students are already bogged down with too many subjects.

“There are no plans at the moment to introduce sex education as a specific subject. But we welcome any NGO that wants to create awareness on the matter so that students can better protect themselves,” Deputy Education Minister Chong Sin Woon said at the Par­liament lobby yesterday.
