"All foods contain nutrients and it all depends on what angle you look at. Nasi lemak is balanced because it has the food groups: rice, vegetables, protein foods and fat," said Malaysian Dietitians Association president Prof Dr Winnie Chee.
Dr Chee, however, said what nasi lemak lacked in is fiber, contained too much fat and could be high in sodium.
