IPOH: The Government should amend three Acts concerning child custody and property rights linked to religious conversion by a spouse, said Wanita MCA chief Datuk Heng Seai Kie.
Referring to the custody case between Muslim convert Izwan Abdullah and his Hindu former wife S. Deepa, Heng said there were still grey areas in the couple’s situation that were not addressed by the Federal Court before deciding on the children’s custody.
