JENJAROM: It was a dazzling welcome of the Monkey Year at the Fo Guang Shan Dong Zen Temple here which was lit with thousands of colourful lights at the launch of its annual Lantern and Floral Festival.

The rainfall just before the launch, which forced the event to be moved from a garden setting to indoors, did not dampen the grand opening of the festival to usher in Chinese New Year which falls tomorrow.
