Special JPJ squad to target cloned vehicles

PENDANG: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has set up a special squad to detect cloned vehicles as its numbers are increasing in the country.

Its director-general Datuk Seri Ismail Ahmad said 25 specially trained officers would move into each state in a wide-scale operation to comprehensively investigate and detect vehicles or individuals involved in the syndicate.
