Johor prince warded for back pain

The Sultan was responding to news that Tunku Abdul Jalil was warded in critical condition at the hospital.

His second son, Tunku Idris, also took to social media to deny the news.

On his Instagram account, the prince posted a screen shot of the false statement, saying it was "bunch of lies" as he was the one who drove his brother to the hospital and that he was only getting his check up at the royal ward.

“Thanks for the prayers but this is a reminder to all that if you don’t hear anything from the palace then it is not true and obviously the person who spread this baseless speculation is not a Johorean because a true Johorean will know that it is Tunku instead of Tengku,” he said in a post on his official Instagram here on Monday.

The posts by the Sultan and Tunku Idris went viral in a matter of hours with many followers supporting their views.

The Facebook post by the Johor Ruler received more than 3,668 likes and over 1,524 shares while the Instagram post by Tunku Idris recorded about 2,671 likes with over 100 comments.
