AirAsia cancels flights to Bali and Lombok over volcanic ash concerns


SEPANG: AirAsia has cancelled flights to and from Bali and Lombok, Indonesia, after the airports there were closed because volcanic ash from Mount Raung disrupted flights.

AirAsia said that according to a Notice of Airmen issued, the Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali will be closed from 9.25am to 9.30pm while the Lombok International Airport will be closed from 9.12am to 9.30pm.
