‘Better jams than no water’

PETALING JAYA: The Government must review the need for the Kuala Lumpur Outer Ring Road (KLORR) project, as the Selangor State Park (SSP) – which it cuts through – contains vital water catchment areas, said environmental groups.

The Protection of the Selangor State Park coalition said it was greatly concerned over the proposal to degazette 106.55ha of land from four forest reserves in Selangor, namely the Ampang, Bukit Seputeh, Ulu Gombak and Ulu Langat forest reserves, for the KLORR.
