KOTA BARU: Malaysians must place importance on arts and culture to ensure that the identity of its multi-racial population will be passed on to future generations.
Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim said they must not be influenced by the West and urged them to uphold local culture.
