Hishammuddin: NKRA report shows 11.1% drop in crime index for 2011

PETALING JAYA: The latest National Key Result Areas (NKRA) report shows that the overall crime index for 2011 dropped by 11.1%, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein.

Last year, street crime decreased significantly by 39.7% compared with 35% in 2010, he said Monday at the International Conference on Principled Policing here.
