THE fire that swept through the hall of SMK St Teresa last Saturday evening came as a shock to me and fellow Teresians.

Photos which spread quickly through social media showed the scary sight of bright orange flames engulfing the entire first floor and thick black smoke billowing into the sky. How could the building survive such a blaze? I thought, heart in mouth as I rushed down to the school.
