Bid to turn Gopeng into industrial hub for plastics

NEGOTIATIONS are underway with the Perak branch of the Malaysian Plastics Manufacturers Association (MPMA) to turn Gopeng into a industrial hub for plastics, says Prime Minister’s Department Adviser for National Unity and Integration Datuk Heng Seai Kie.

Heng said the association is receptive to her suggestion to set up a hub and consider the former tin mining town in their expansion plans.
