THE Smart Waste Management system under the Smart Selangor initiative in Klang is off to a good start, with minimal complaints received since the project was introduced in July.

KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd, which took over waste collection in the trouble-wrought Klang area, brought with it Selangor’s pilot Smart Waste Management system to deal with the problems.
