Reaching out in tough times

NESTLED among the two-storey terrace houses in Taman Orkid, Teluk Pulai in Klang is a piece of land with a 20 by 40 feet container placed on it.

From the outside it looks like a storage warehouse of some sort. The proprietor of the premises is 58-year-old Chew Song Kong, the founder and chairman of the Klang Charity Food Basket Society.
