Ho, ho, oh no: Woman gets stuck in chimney trying to sneak into man's home

Ventura County Sheriff's Office released this image of Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa, who was stuck inside a chimney while sneaking into the home of a man she met online. TV footage showed firefighters dismantling the chimney brick-by-brick to reach her, stuck eight feet down, according to local TV channel KTLA. The man whose home she was trying to get into said they had dated a few times. Police arrested her for illegal entry.

A California woman who tried to sneak into a house through the chimney got stuck and had to be rescued by firefighters, who used dish soap to help extricate the soot-covered intruder.

Local media reports say the woman, identified by police as Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa, 30, tried on Sunday (Oct 19) to enter the Los Angeles-area house of a man who said he met her online, and that when she got stuck she started screaming for help.
