Hextar sees 54% jump in net profit for Q1

“Being one of the biggest producers of agrochemicals in Malaysia, the group was able to secure sufficient inventories to operate without disruption from the Covid-19 impact, ” it said.

PETALING JAYA: Hextar Global Bhd’s operations avoided disruption from Covid-19 and recorded a 54% jump in net profit to RM9.45mil for the first quarter ended March 31 from RM6.14mil in the corresponding quarter last year.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the improved performance came on the back of higher revenue from both the agriculture and consumer product segments.
