Suicide by commercial pilots rare

I REFER to the letter “Stringent tests a must for flight crew” (The Star, April 1) by Yasmin Karim. There have also been other similar calls and reports highlighted in your publication.

Although not conclusive, the reports of the Germanwings airline mishap indicate in all probability, a pilot suicide.
