Wife forced to film rape

HE raped his sister-in-law, who was merely 11 years old, and made his underage wife capture the entire episode on a video camera.

Harian Metro reported that the 35-year-old unemployed man forced his 14-year-old wife, whom he married a month ago, to record the rape at the victim’s home in Telok Kemang near Port Dickson, Negri Sembilan.

A source told the tabloid that the recording was then copied to VCDs by the man who sold it to his friends for a quick buck.

The source said the matter came to light when the recording was circulated through WhatsApp.

It somehow found its way to the victim’s father who had the shock of his life seeing his daughter and son-in-law in the video.

He queried his daughter, who broke down and revealed that she had been raped by her brother-in-law several times in the past one month, the source said.

On Monday, the man took his daughter to Port Dickson police station to lodge a report.

The source also said the man had raped his 14-year-old wife before they were married.

A police spokesman confirmed the report, adding that the man and his wife had been detained.

This was the appeal by Rozana Misbun, the younger sister of actress Haliza Misbun, on her marriage to popular rock star Awie.

Sinar Harian reported that Rozana, 37, explained to the press that she was not the wife of the rocker any more after the marriage was annulled last year.

She said she received a fasakh (annulment of marriage) certification letter from the Songkhla District Islamic Council on Dec 1, 2014.

Rozana spoke to the media during a Syariah Court proceeding in Kuala Lumpur regarding alimony of their two children, who were under her care.

Awie had filed a preliminary objection against the alimony claims on grounds of technical errors.
