Bus firms say stopping unprofitable routes, mainly outside Klang Valley

KOTA KINABALU: Bus companies nationwide are stopping routes which are deemed unprofitable or reducing frequency of the services.

Pan Malaysia Bus Operators Association president Datuk Mohamed Ashfar Ali said the move was a result of delayed payments from the government’s Interim Support Fund meant to offset escalating costs.
