Woman living in fear of loan sharks


KUALA LUMPUR: A 60-year-old woman has been persistently harassed by loan sharks for the past fortnight to the extent she is now afraid to even operate her noodle stall.

Chen Soo Mooi’s ordeal started on July 7 when she received calls from no less than six different numbers demanding repayment for loans taken by her son, whom she has not had any contact with in the past two years.
