AirAsia, MAS cancel Bali, Lombok flights due to Mount Raung eruption

SEPANG: AirAsia and Malaysia Airlines have cancelled flights to and from Bali and Lombok, Indonesia on Friday after the airports were closed because of volcanic activity in Mount Raung.

AirAsia said that according to a Notice to Airmen issued, the Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali will be closed from 9.25am to 9.30pm while the Lombok International Airport will be closed from 9.12am to 9.30pm.
