Road closure in conjunction with Thaipusam and Nike Run


KUALA LUMPUR: Several roads around the city will be closed gradually beginning Sunday to make way for the Nike We Run KL 2015 event and the Thaipusam chariot procession.

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Police chief ACP Mohd Nadzri Hussain in a media statement Monday said for the run held on Feb 1, roads affected would be Jalan Petaling, Jalan Maharajalela, Jalan Kinabalu, Jalan Hishamuddin, Jalan Raja, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Dang Wangi, Jalan Ampang, Jalan Sultan Ismail, Jalan P. Ramlee, Jalan Raja Chulan, Jalan Perak, Jalan Kuching, Jalan Loke Yew, Cheras Roundabout (U turn), Dewan Bahasa Roundabout and Stadium Merdeka. Roads will be closed from 5am to 10am.
