Paul Low: MACC officer involved in Teoh Beng Hock investigation was promoted by the book


PUTRAJAYA: The promotion of Mohd Anuar Ismail, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officer involved in the investigation on the death of Teoh Beng Hock, was done according to the Public Service Department's (PSD) regulations and procedures.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Paul Low Seng Kuan said upon checks with the MACC, it was also found that Mohd Anuar, had also undergone, among others, competency test and assessment recognised by the PSD and the promotion was also done after taking into account his service of almost 10 years.
