Fatal crash: Traffic police officers at the scene of the accident along Persiaran Utara near Desa Pinggiran Putra in Putrajaya.
PUTRAJAYA: Three men were killed and another seriously injured when the car they were in rammed into an electricity pole.
The impact caused the vehicle to split into two.
The three died at the scene of the accident.
The victims were on their way to Desa Pinggiran Putra from Dengkil when the crash occurred at about 6.45am yesterday.
It is learnt that the driver had lost control of the car.
Putrajaya OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Razak Abdul Majid said the injured person was being treated at Putrajaya Hospital.
Fire and Rescue Department personnel were called in to extricate the bodies from the car.
He said that police had not been able to identify the four yet.
