JPJ: All vehicle ownership transfers to require biometric confirmation from June 1

PUTRAJAYA: All transactions for vehicle ownership transfers can only be done via the biometric confirmation system effective June 1.

Road Transport Department (JPJ) director-general Datuk Seri Ismail Ahmad said the system had been introduced in stages from April 1.
