KUALA LUMPUR: The son of former Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud has more than enough assets to pay the RM100mil mutaah claim filed by his ex-wife Shahnaz A. Majid, as a divorce settlement.
Chartered accountant Andrew Heng, 39, told a Syariah High Court here when responding to a question by Shahnaz's lead counsel Dr Rafie Mohd Shafie in the trial of her mutaah (gift) claim filed against Datuk Seri Mahmud Abu Bekir Taib.
