PETALING JAYA: Two cars were submerged at the Jalan Chan Sow Lin tunnel on Monday evening due flash floods, Star Radio Traffic tweeted.

Star Radio Traffic had tweeted the alert along with a photograph of one of the submerged cars.

The Royal Malaysian Police’s traffic service, @PDRMsia_Trafik, also shared the same photo at 6.57pm.

Heavy rain Monday evening resulted in traffic jams in the Klang Valley with floods also reported at the Segambut roundabout on Jalan Kuching and at the Billion roundabout, near Leisure Mall, Cheras.

Netizens also took to twitter to warn off flooding.

@AngelinaChanis tweeted at 7.18pm, “Avoid Jalan Sultan Ismail at all cost. Been stuck here for the past 1 hour and I barely moved 500m.”
