PETALING JAYA: Mixed Martial Arts exponent Saiful Merican won his rematch against Cambodia’s Khim Dima in emphatic fashion in ONE FC: War of Nations at the Putra Stadium on March 14.
After the bout, Saiful, 25 generously donated his winnings to his opponent who lost his family home in Cambodia due to a devastating fire, according to ONE FC.
“I promised myself before the fight that, if I won, I would donate the prize money to Khim Dima. At the time I needed to focus on the fight so I didn't say anything to anybody about it,” said Saiful who hails from Terengganu, but is now based in KL.
“This is just something I wanted to do quietly out of the public eye. But I am happy to have the opportunity to do something good,”
