PETALING JAYA: Local authorities will be directed to carry out more frequent fogging activities in dengue hotspot areas, said Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan.
He said the number of workers and vehicles used to collect rubbish following floods had also been increased in order to reduce the chances of mosquitoes breeding.
