Hong Leong Islamic profit up up 9.1%


PETALING JAYA: Hong Leong Islamic Bank Bhd (HLISB) posted a net profit of RM114mil or a growth of 9.1% for its first half of financial year 2015 ending December compared to the previous corresponding period on strong retail deposits growth and an increase in gross financing.

The Islamic banking arm of the Hong Leong group’s net profit for the second quarter, meanwhile, grew 28.3% to RM52mil.
