MRCB's second-quarter profit gets boost from sale of Duke stake


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd’s (MRCB) net profit for the second quarter ended June 30 surged to RM118.5mil from RM5.8mil a year earlier, boosted by the sale of its 30% stake in Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (Duke).

Its revenue for the quarter jumped to RM325.6mil from RM185.7mil on improved performance at its property development, engineering and construction divisions. Earnings per share rose to 7.15 sen.
