Anas Zul torpedoes games record as he wins swimming gold


Anas leaps out of the water in joy after winning the first swimming gold in record time at the Asean Para Games.

KUALA LUMPUR: Anas Zul Amirul Sidi has bagged Malaysia's first swimming gold medal, smashing the meet record in the process at the Asean Para Games here.

He won the men's 100m freestyle (s14) event in a time of 59.79, breaking the previous record of 1:02.88 at the National Aquatic Centre in Bukit Jalil.
