KUALA LUMPUR: Nour El Sherbini came back from the brink of defeat to create history by becoming Egypt’s first-ever women’s world squash champion.

The 20-year-old Egyptian fought back from two sets down to clinch a sensational 6-11, 4-11, 11-3, 11-5, 11-8 win over world No. 1 Laura Massaro of England in the final of the Naza Women’s World Championship at the National Squash Centre in Bukit Jalil on Saturday.
