Gavin closes in on spot in lucrative World Tour tournament


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s Gavin Kyle Green (pic) boosted his hopes of qualifying for the European Tour season-ending DP World Tour Championship with another top 10 finish at the Andalucia Masters in Valderrama, Spain.

The 25-year-old carded a two-under 69 on the final day for a share of eighth spot with four other golfers, including Thomas Bjorn, who is Denmark’s most successful golfer with 15 European Tour titles to his name.
