Gavin named the Asian Tour Players' Player of the Year

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian golfer Gavin Kyle Green (pic) capped off his incredible run on the Asian Tour this season by being voted the Tour's “Players' Player of the Year”.

The 23-year-old was recognised by his peers for his strong performance throughout the year, in which he recorded his maiden victory at the Taiwan Masters and finished runner-up thrice (Indian Open, Yeangder Heritage in Taiwan, and the Shinhan Donghae Open in South Korea) en route to winning the Order of Merit with season earnings of US$585,813 (RM2.4mil).
